Can you go a day without chicken?

Whats up Internet people? Today's blog is dedicated to the "Chicken Song" sent to me by a old friend of mine. This video is pretty freaking funny. A young guy rapping and singing to how much he loves chicken. I think it is awesome for someone to write a tribute song about their love for chicken.

  Chicken is one of our most prevalent food sources. Think about it.....can you even go a day without eating a chicken product? I mean seriously you can wake up have a chicken biscuit with your coffee. Then you can have a selection of fried chicken,grilled chicken and a ridiculous variety of chicken for lunch. When it comes to dinner the chicken dish possibilities are endless! Thus making chicken the most versatile source of protein out there. There is even Chicken Soup for the soul. Our world literally revolves around chickens. Not to mention chicken by products like eggs. Chicken is starting to look pretty sexy to me!

Did you know that 8.39 Billion Chickens are killed every year.

Every day, 23 million chickens are killed in the U.S. for food--that's 269 deaths per second!

In the old days civilizations used to build shrines to show their love for the food source. I think we should have a shrine dedicated to chickens. its the least we can do since we slaughter 8.39 billion of them a year!

We may not have a shrine for you chickens yet but at least someone out there wrote you a love song!
