K.D. & J-o

K.D. And J-o have been doing music together for the past 5 years. J-o was introduced to the production of music after meeting K.D and listening to his own works. Giving an opportunity to record music, J-o grew as an artist with the guidance of K.D. Together they would release a series of underground mixtapes known as Mixtape Massacres including the “I Do This for Fun” and “I Still Do This For Fun” Mixtapes. Balancing work, school and recordings with other local artist K.D and J.O managed to drop the album “The Weather Underground” featuring the talented vocal side of K.D and the unforgettable voice of vocalist Heather Blaze. The album gives a new age hip-hop feel with plenty of R&B. The Album snagged the attention of another local artist, K-SOS, and with the addition of Rams the four recorded The Dinosaur Album, a funky collaboration that brings a fresh new sound. “The Animal Mixtape” is the latest installment of the K.D & J-o brand hip-hop music. A lyrically conscious, eclectic sounding work with instrumentals spanning over a decade this should be a good listen all the way through.
