“On Part 3 of the Trilogy: Sciamachy, K Sos takes his layered hip hop psychedelic style and adds bigger production to a short but solid lineup of songs he wrote over his last 10 months in Orlando. Before relocating to Miami in late summer, K Sos carefully sifted through more than 60 tracks for his new project Sciamachy. For those unfamiliar with the term, Sciamachy is the act of sparring with an imaginery opponent or fighting with your own shadow. Sos says he first heard the word on the National Kids Spelling Bee and instantly fell in love with its meaning. Very fitting for the time period that covers a range of topics including dealing with the loss of his mother, legal troubles, and Sos’s romanticized version of their journey towards success. As always, Sciamachy includes a short and humble list of guests from “Stay If you Will” featuring the soaring guitar work of Nick Romanelli, to the eerie vocals of Kate Rodriguez on “Skyway to Gorgeous”. The first single, “Lost in A Cloud” is one of Sos’s favorite tracks, along with a collaboration for the first time in several years with his cousin, Entertay, on “Zonin”. And what would a K Sos release be without the rest of the No Ordinary Cats. J.O. & Rams lend verses to Sos’s club track “Better for Me” while all four collaborate on the album’s monumental finale “Pretending”. K.D., whose pristine mixing ability can be heard throughout the album, realizes Sos’s vision more than ever on this one adds another great album to the No Ordinary Cats collection. K Sos hopes that this release will continue to raise awareness for his group and first love No Ordinary Cats who have been in the studio preparing a new and still untitled mixtape for Christmas. “

DJ Bre

in
DJ Bre official dj of the noc

Young adults in our generation are often talked down about by elders as being lazy, having no goals, and not being motivated. However, Breghon Wesley, also known as DJ Bre, breaks that stereotype in all ways. Although labeled as a ‘DJ’, Bre holds the determination to become an entrepreneur. He had a vision of how he wanted his career to take off, and has now turned that vision into reality. DJing at numerous venues, parties and clubs in Miami, Miramar, Carol City, and Hialeah, he has gained a professional reputation to others in the industry, and fans of all ages.

DJ Bre is a Miami native, and began to grow love for music at a young age. His parents would throw house parties often, in which his father’s large CD collection would be used. Growing up around this, Bre was exposed to different genres of music, played the saxophone, and began to relate his life to certain songs. At the age of 14, Bre moved to Atlanta for a year, where his knowledge of music grew by going to teen clubs. He knew what he wanted to hear, and what would make the crowd dance. Watching how DJ AM and other DJs could completely change the mood of a party just by getting on turn tables inspired him. With this in mind and his love for music, he got to work.

At the age of 15, Bre moved back to Miami and received his first mixer and speakers from his uncle. He began creating playlists with songs that he felt could enhance a party, and take music to another level. His main motive for wanting to DJ was simply knowing the fact that he could be the reason why a party went from just okay to amazing.

DJ Bre’s first gig was at White Diamonds on South Beach when he was only 16. Now at the age of 19, you can find him working at places such as Living Room, Nocturnal, Café Iguanas, Club Revolution, different Colleges in Florida, and High School Events. His goals are to take things to another level and having his own show. No matter what state he’s in or what challenges may come his way, DJ Bre will always be motivated by music. He has already set examples to those younger than him that no matter what field you have a passion for, you’re never too young start chasing your dreams.

K Sos Presents... The Late Nite Walrus

Ksos Presents.. The Late Night Walrus Ksos of NOC no ordinary cats Urban undergr

Eclectically inclined artist K Sos revisits the psychedelic hip hop style pioneered on the PRESPORT, for his fall solo release. The Late Nite Walrus is a further exploration in his fusion of genres while always leaving a core hip hop element. Most of the album was recorded in their Canton St. home with songs ranging from a vast amount of time slots over the last two years. Guest appearances include all the N.O.C. members in unique ways on a range of tracks from the thematic “Love Me” w/ Rams to the explosive 9 minute “All Over This” featuring the whole N.O.C. The personal touches include tracks like “Love Song for No One” and “Push” which separates Sos’s N.O.C. contributions from his solo experimentation. He hopes that this release will continue to raise awareness about his group The N.O.C. as they prepare for
upcoming fall shows.
