Phil Carr was born in broward county on August 11, 1986 and raised in Delray Beach, Florida. Some of Phil's main music influences include: Outkast, Eminem, Field Mob, Goodie Mob, Do or Die, and Ludacris. At the age of 19 things became interesting as Phil became addicted to xanax and had some run-ins with the law. Over the past 5 yrs Phil overcame the adversity by putting all of the negative things in his life into words and onto a beat. So far, that has resulted into 3 mixtapes in the books: My World My Life vol.1, intervention, and My world my life vol. 2. Phil has rocked the crowds with his live performances including shows in Ft. Lauderdale (broward), Delray, and Boca Raton. He is widely known for the aggressive style of hip-hop that seems to be an endangered species.
Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. In 1949, American aerospace engineer Edward Murphy inadvertently coined this phrase that became not only the scientist’s most noteworthy contribution but the start of a universal law explaining unfavorable occurrences. Over the last several months, The N.O.C.’s animated duo of K Sos & Rams have been submerged in a their own project while overcoming countless obstacles leading to its completion. Midway through the recording of several new songs, they decided to name their new work Murphy’s Killer, their own tribute to an ostensible death of bad luck. While there are several guest appearances from their N.O.C. counterpart K.D. & J.O. the duo feels that this work allowed them to explore their darker side. With tracks like “Land of the Misfits” to the blood curdling “Murphy’s Killer”, K Sos & Rams inject their eerie sensationalist writing style into the album’s mood and vocals. Songs like “Hello Lady” & “Tomorrow to Come” share more personal insights into the groups struggle for success, while complimenting each other’s very different styles. The duo hopes that this album will give their fans a wide range of sounds while exposing them to a taste of just what it takes to kill Murphy.
