Before the collaborations and the collection of designs that followed, there were two prints. This was one of them.
The Classic brings the Tree of Life through the first Skinnybuddha logo design. White ink on a black shirt. Clean lines, sharp contrast, and an identity you can spot across the room. It is a piece of where we began that still belongs in what we wear now.
The roots are in the print
Look closely and the tree becomes part of the lettering. Its trunk cuts through the wordmark, its branches reach across it, and the whole design holds together as one image. The art and the name share the same space.
That is a fitting place to start for Skinnybuddha. The artwork has always been the reason for the shirt. With The Classic, that idea is right there in our own name.
An OG after dark
This series puts the print against concrete, warm light, and the glow of a city at night. Dark denim keeps the outfit simple. White sneakers pick up the white ink. The shirt does the talking.
There is something about that black-and-white combination: it reads clean even when everything around it is moving. Palm silhouettes, reflected lights, a little grit. The mood feels at home with Skinnybuddha.
