Perfecto Insekto: Inside Insektocide
Meet Victor Garibaldi, the Miami songwriter and producer behind Perfecto Insekto. Explore his world of synthesizers, live electronic performance, and the album Insektocide.

Some of the people we want you to hear are already in our circle. Victor Garibaldi is one of them.
A friend of Skinnybuddha and a sound wizard in our book, Victor writes and produces music as Perfecto Insekto. His world runs on synthesizers, curiosity, and a futuristic approach to independent dance music. His album Insektocide gives you a place to step into it.
Meet Perfecto Insekto
“Miami Synthesizer Coffee Machine” is how he introduces himself on Instagram. It is a pretty good introduction to the character behind the machines: Miami in the picture, a room full of instruments, and a clear appetite for making things.
Victor is a songwriter and record producer whose approach puts complex synthesizer arrangements at the center. The instruments matter, but so does the person deciding how they work together. The interest is in how Victor puts them to work: building rhythms, shaping tones, and arranging those parts into music.

Inside the Insekto Lab
The studio photos tell part of the story. Keyboards, sequencers, a mixing desk, and instruments within arm’s reach. Insekto Lab looks like a place built for following an idea until it becomes something you can hear.
His live approach brings those machines into conversation. Synthesizers are clocked together so their sequences can share a pulse, while the performance is shaped through the instruments. Think of it as an electronic ensemble: different parts, different roles, one person bringing them together.
That is the part we want people to pay attention to. The choices, the coordination, and the hands behind the sound. The wizardry has a working method.

Insektocide: meet your next discovery
Insektocide is the release we’re putting in front of the Skinnybuddha community. Its cover brings you face to face with Victor: a blurred portrait, his circular insect emblem, and the person behind the production right in the frame.
The track list opens with “Wait,” followed by “FUS” and “Elektrofunk.” Start at the beginning and give the music some space. We want you to make your own connection with it, then pass it on.

Miami in the picture. Your next discovery on the speakers.
Between the studio and the palms outside, these photos bring you into his world. The person, the place, and the work all belong in the frame.
Skinnybuddha has always lived around art, music, and the people making both. Sharing Victor’s work is part of that. We want The Collective to be a place where you find someone worth following, then leave with their music in your rotation.

Give Insektocide a listen. Save the tracks that stick with you. Share it with the friend who always asks what you’re playing.
